New Hartford IHOP on French Road Has Closed
Why it matters here
It was the Utica area's IHOP; the nearest remaining ones listed are in Clay, Albany and Clifton Park.
The IHOP on French Road in New Hartford is closed, WIBX reported on Oct. 13. A notice on the door and IHOP's own website both list the location as closed. The station noted its sign was still lit on Oct. 12, so the closing came within the last week or so.
No reason has been given, and there's no word yet on what happens to the building.
For pancake fans, the closest IHOPs WIBX found are in Clay, Albany and Clifton Park, all a long drive from New Hartford.
