MVCC Trick-or-Treat Street in Rome, Oct. 29
Indoor trick-or-treating at about 20 local tables, so the weather can't cancel it.
Trick-or-Treat Street is Thursday, Oct. 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Plumley Complex atrium on MVCC's Rome campus, 1101 Floyd Ave. It's free and open to all ages, and kids are encouraged to come in costume.
About 20 local businesses and groups will hand out treats. MVCC lists The House of the Good Shepherd, Jervis Public Library, Connected Community Schools, the Rome Fire Department, the Rome Lions Club, the NAACP, AmeriCU Credit Union and King Pin Lanes among them.
Because it's indoors, it's a good backup if Halloween week turns cold or wet. MVCC didn't say whether registration is needed. Questions go to the MVCC Events Office at 315-731-5721 or [email protected].
